• At what time can we check-in and out?
  All accommodations, Check In from 3pm, Check Out before midday.
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  Our rates are per room, half-board rate per person.
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  No. Breakfast is charged extra. We serve a buffet with fresh fruits and juices, hot beverages, diffrent bread types, home made cakes and viennoiserie, region cheese, ham and saussiges, ceraels and fresh muesli, dried friuts, yoghurt, cottage cheese, milk rice, apple conserve, prunes in syrop, honey, marmelade and jams, butter and all kind of eggs.
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  You can make a pre-payment on your arrival, if you wish so, but the extras will be charged upon departure.
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  We speak French, English, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, most of the Slave languages.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  The rooms are spread on two floors, on the third floor we have a jacuzzi, sauna and beauty ceenter. Abbaye is a historical monument and there is no elevator allowed.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  Yes, we have 33 rooms, all induvidually decorated, all different in size. Although Suite Cezanne, Junior Suite Jean Reno and the other two Junior suits are perhaps the most appropriate for the romantic stays, all the other rooms do not lack charm and intimacy.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  No.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  The rooms viewing the gardens and the mountains have balconies.
• Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
  Not exactly. Most of our clients are no smokers, in case we have a smoking guest, we take special care of the room before next arrival.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  Yes, every room has a TV with the satellite channels in English, German and Italian.
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  Yes, all our rooms have a telephone.
• Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
  No, we do not have air-conditioning, but the 17th century walls are extremly well isolated, so there is very seldom a need of an extra room ventilator.
• Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
  Our hotel offers a WI-FI service, so our guests can connect their pc wherever they want, moreover they can use the Internet computer in our office.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  No. Abbaye is situated on the banks of the beautiful Annecy lake and has its own pontoon that is reserved for our guests. In colder seasons we propose our big jacuzzi on the 3rd floor.
• Is parking or garage available?
  We have a parking place in front of the hotel, which is closed during the night.
• Where can we rent a car?
  In Annecy or we arrange it for you at the hotel.
• Are there grocery stores or supermarkets in the surroundings?
  Yes, there is a small supermarket in the village of Talloires and all the big ones in Annecy. There are also weekly markets in Talloires and the surroundings.
• Which is the nearest airport?
  The nearest national airport is in Annecy Meythet (20 km), nearest international airport is in Geneva (55 km), another one is in Lyon(130km).
• Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
  Yes, we have our own pick up service (mini bus and limousine).
• Which is the nearest bus-stop?
  In the village, at 500 m from the hotel.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  Annecy, TGV and railway station (at 15 km).
• Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
  We do not have a fitness center, but we do have Sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as a massage saloon. We offer a lot of sport activities included in the price of the room, such as tennis, golf, rowing, hiking, cycling and many others, according to the season.
• Are pets welcome?
  Yes, and it is charged extra.
• Is there a restaurant in the Property?
  Yes, our gastronomical restaurant "Aux Jardins des Délices" is well known for the haute french cuisine that follows the seasons. During the summer we serve a brasserie menus on our lower terrace on the lakeside.
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  Yes, all our rooms have modem connection and you can connect your pc whenever you want. Moreover we have a Wi-Fi connection in the whole Hotel and most of the terraces.
