We are very proud of our gourmet restaurant. Jeremy Picanol's cuisine remains very traditional although tinged with savours which are purely Provençal. This is because his carte uses many local products including most especially olive oil, certain Mediterranean fish, lamb and, of course, herbes de Provence. |
The restaurant itself offers a panoramic view over the whole of Provence from the Montagne Sainte Victoire to the plains of Camargue, and meals are served on the terrace in fine weather. You will also find on the spot entertainment facilities such as a swimming pool and a ping pong table. Our guests also traditionally enjoy lingering in the 20 hectares park that surrounds the premises. Note that on request you can have our breakfast in the room or on the panoramic terrace when the weather permits. |
We also have a private parking. The Abbey possesses three reception rooms as well as the restaurant and the two lounges by the bar. One of them is an old Romanesque chapel which lends itself wonderfully well to gala receptions, concerts, plenary sessions or any sorts of events. All standard equipment is already installed, and otherwise all audio-visual material can be hired by the day. |

Aix en Provence, only at 30 km, is one of the most reknown place in the area. A southern 'Mecca' for many tourists, Aix-en-Provence combines a sumptuous architectural heritage with an Italian-style 'art of living'. The town in which appearance and culture are important continues to attract the crowds. Les Baux de Provence and Saint Rémy are also nearby, at 40 kilometers. Arles, the famous Roman capital is at the same distance. The town of Arles has been listed by Unesco for its exceptional archaeological and Christian heritage: the Ancient Theatre, the Arenas, the Baths of Constantine, the Crypto-porticoes of the Forum, the Museums, the Cloister and the Church of Saint Trophimus, The Town Hall Square, the "Espace Van Gogh", the Museum of Ancient Arles and so on. |
