You will be stunned by the different styles combined inside the walls of Best Western Monopole Metropole: this hotel was constructed in the beginning of the 20th century, on the corner of Rue Kuhn and Rue Kageneck. Many of its original features have been preserved, specially those speaking of the Alsatian traditional style: the lobby and some of the rooms are decorated this way, really cosy ambiances where to relax during your holidays in Strasbourg, in northeast France. |
However, for those travellers preferring the contemporary flair, there are also chambers that seem to have come out of the 21st century: white and silver, or wooden headboards combined with minimalist lines, these are the main features inside these ambiances. |
The Best Western Monopole Metropole has a really convenient location in the capital of the Alsace region: the city reflects this combination of styles, with modern constructions like the European Parliament buildings, and testimonies from the past such as the Strasbourg Cathedral -built between the 12th and the 15th centuries- and Maison Kammerzell. |
