We were welcomed, greeted warmly, and ushered to lunch while the room was being prepared (we were early). The room was then ready.

The air conditioning was weak (by American Sub-Arctic standards) but the room was very nice with a newly installed bathroom.

We were leaving at 5:30 AM and the front desk therefore did all the checkout after dinner so that we would only have to drop the key. Very thoughtful when we had morning time pressure.

The fact that the restaurant is one of the finest in France and that one can expect to be coddled by an expert wait staff. My wife and I thought it was our best restaurant experience in 57 years of dining. It was reasonable for a top-quality dining experience.
