By Plane
Marseille airport is the terminal placed closer to the property: Marseille Provence welcomes both international and national flights, therefore you will surely find a connection from your point of departure. This airport stands around 97 kilometres from the house, and the best way to come is by car. Otherwise, Avignon is way closer to the inn, at a distance of 50 kms.
By Car
If you are driving from Marseille airport, it will take you around 1 hour 20 minutes to reach Saignon. First, you must pass the towns of Vitrolles and Rognac before taking highway A7/E714 direction "Aix-en-Provence/ Avignon/ Lyon" and get off at the exit 25 for Cavaillon. After you reach this town, turn right in road D22 and again in N100. You will pass Apt before joining route D48; then you must veer left in D74 and you will end up in Saignon. You cannot miss the house, as it is placed in the entrance to the village.
If your flight lands in Avignon airport, go along Chemin des Meinajariés, turn right in Chemin des Félons and at the roundabout, drive onto the second exit, road N7. Afterwards, join road D973, D22 and N100. Then you have to follow the directions already described. (45 minutes driving).
By Train
In order to reach the Chambre de Sejour on public transport, you must come to the TGV train station at Avignon (around 50 kms far)-. If you get a connection landing in Paris, there are TGV train services departing from Gare de Lyon travelling to Avignon (they take around 3 hours). Then you can take the local buses to Apt, and a taxi to Saignon (only 5 minutes). |
