Le Château de Sanse is located just outside the village of Ste Radegonde, near by the small village of Gensac, only a 10 minutes drive from Castillon la Bataille and 20 minutes from St Emilion. Bergerac is about 40 kms away and Bordeaux an hour away from us making here a stategic base from where to visit the region. |

By train
Bordeaux TGV station is located 60 kms away and Libourne 30 kms. If you need to rent a car or take a taxi, we advise you to do it in Bordeaux, where it will be easier.
By plane
Bergerac aiport is 40 kms away and Bordeaux airport is 70 kms away.
By car
From highway A10-Paris-Saint André de Cubzac:
Exit highway at "Saint André de Cubzac" (39a) and take the direction of Libourne. Cross the town of Libourne and follow the direction of Castillon la Bataille. Before the town center of Castillon la Bataille, you will have the big shopping center "Leclerc" on your right, and just after a round about. Here, take the direction on the right, for Pujols. Cross the village of Pujols and take the direction of Gensac. Château de Sanse is located at 1,5 km before the village of Gensac (at the intersection : take on right direction of Coubeyrac / Château de Sanse).
From highway A62-Toulouse-La Réole:
Exit highway at "Libourne/La Réole/Bazas" (n°4). Cross the town of La Réole and take the direction of Sauveterre de Guyenne. In Sauveterre, follow the direction of Blasimon. When you arrive in Blasimon, follow the direction of Pujols. Cross the village of Pujols and take the direction of Gensac. After 5 kms, you will see a sign on your right for Château de Sanse : take this direction. Less than 1 km after, you will have another sign for Château de Sanse : you will take the road on your right.
From highway A89-Clermont Ferrand-Castillon/Sainte Foy la Grande:
Exit highway at "Castillon/Sainte Foy la Grande/Montpon (n°12). You will cross the village of Vélines. Take the direction of Pessac sur Dordogne and in this village, the direction of Gensac. In Gensac, follow the direction of Pujols. 1,5 km after Gensac, you will go on left direction Coubeyrac D15. Less than 1 km after, you will have another sign for Château de Sanse : you will take the road on your right. |
