The room reserved for us was reasonable in size but not very bright. The person who showed it to us sensed we were a bit disappointed. We were 'upgraded' to a larger, cheerier room by the owner/manager without addditional cost in recognition of the fact that we were booked for six nights. ... The menu was fairly extensive for such a small dining room. Nonetheless, there were variations offered each evening. Each night also offered a different prix fixe set three course menu which was a very good value. Above all, the quality of the food, both presentation and preparation was suberb. They need to hold onto that chef!

Signage to the Chateaux in St. Remy was also very helpful. ... We stayed in the chapel on the grounds. The interior design was absolutely beautiful, spacious and everything was perfect. We shared the chapel with our two sons, and they had the adjoining room. It was private, quite and very spacious. The bathrooms were very functional with great lighting and there was ample closet space. ... We had dinner at the Chateau the evening we arrived. It was a delicious meal, the service and food were very, very good. We tried to book another evening for dinner, but we could not as it was full...we should have planned further ahead. I would highly recommend dinner here. ... The setting of the Chateau, with its huge trees, drive and lovely grounds were so private and quiet. We enjoyed walking on the grounds, listening to the frogs and birds in the morning, looking at the lilies in the ponds, eating and reading outside. The owner was charming, the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be accommodating. The chapel was beautifully decorated, private, and all that you could ask for, especially since it accommodated four of us comfortably. I would highly recommend the Chateau to anyone staying in Provence and would recommend dinner here as well.

The grounds are magnificent and accommodations elegant. The restaurant was also first class. Would recommend it. ... The exterior of the building is in need of new paint, but it did not detract from the experience. ... The quality of the food and dining experience should be emphasized. It was one of our best meals while in France. ... Elegant, comfortable and quiet.
