Facilities within the Property

 
The 17th century Chateau d'Etoges is built on an island surrounded first by an expanse of water and then an expanse of green laws and fountains of natural water springs. An arched bridge crosses over its dramatic courtyard banded on one side by an impressive arched corridor. Inside, the ambiance is inviting and comfortable. This chateau was used as a home for many years before being converted to a hotel.
 
Just off the entry is a small salon and the round the corned is a small, ornate lounge decorate in lots of pink. You can prefered the adjoining lounge, a larger room with a big open fire and soft-yellow walls playing beautifully with the simularly huedlinens and the light that streams in from the large windows. Château d'Etoges is set in a charming and tranquil park of 20 acre. Therefore, you can enjoy the numerous wide paths and walkways.
 
The restaurant in the Orangerie which is beautiful enjoys an enviable reputation for the high standard of it cooking. For business or private clients, the restaurant is ideal for entertaining. The solarium and the terrace will help to your relaxing program. Why not paddle around the moat in one of our two rowing boats and try your luck with a spot of fishing? (Bring your own rod and tackle).
 
Alternatively, stroll through the 20 acres of private wooded parkland. For the more energetic we can offer, free of charge, bicycles, a table tennis table and croquet.For leisurely pursuits there is a salon with a piano and a card table. On request we can provide musicians to entertain you and your guests, or even organise a lavish Champagne tasting with the guidance of an expert.

The château d'Etoges is an ideal place to visit Champagne Cellars and Vineyards: Moët & Chandon, Pommery, Veuve Cliquot, Roederer, Ruinart... . Another point of interest of our region is without any doubt a visit to Reims and its Cathedral. For your sport activities, you may enjoy a tour on boat in the moat, bicycle or a horse riding in the country side.
We advise you to go for:

A guided tour in the company of a Champagne producer: with visit of the cellars and champagne museum followed by a champagne tasting. You will discover how we make the world famous champagne... (in the village or about 18 minutes from the Chateau).
- The Champagne Touristic Trail: a fascinating tour through the vineyards, villages and woodlands of the region encompassing the three principal champagne producing areas - the "Cote des Blancs" (in the south of which is located the Chateau), the Marne Valley, and the "Mountain of Reims" - and a wealth of chateaux, monuments, and breathtaking views. Don't forget to sample the produce of at least some of the hundreds of family-owned vineyards along the way.
- A visit to Reims Cathedral: One of the most beautiful in France along with its "Le Thau" museum where the cathedral treasures are displayed. A guided tour of around two hour duration.
