Travellers Reviews

Unfortunately, we got lost in locating the Chateau. The hosts were concerned about us, but were extremely accomodating and they prepared us a lovely light dinner. The directions to Chateau La Roque could be a bit clearer, but some of the confusion was probably ours. ... Chateau La Roque is a unique oasis that is extremely comfortable and welcoming. Both Jon and Chantel were extraordinary hosts who made the stay in a beautiful setting even more pleasant. The castle has been made into a wonderfully welcoming home with amenities that we appreciated sincerely. Our only surprise was that we were not prepared to have to travel so far for dinner each evening - maybe a word to guests making them aware of nearby restaurants would be helpful. ... As with everything else - it was immpecable. ... As stated earlier, very consise directions would be helpful. If guests arrive after it is dark, the Chateau La Roque signs are not very visible. ... A wonderful 'castle' that has the amenities of a modern 4 star hotel located in a beautifully romantic setting. The hosts are extremely sincere, accomodating people who provide a very homey environment for their guests.
