Domaine de Châteauneuf is the ideal place to relax, swim and rest under the shade of it's century old Cypress and Chestnut trees. As well as swimming, various other activities are available, which include, tennis, ping-pong, volley ball, a giant chess board, and not forgetting the traditional Pétanque. The Domaine de Châteauneuf is located in the heart of the magnificent golf course of la Sainte Baume. Set within classic Provence surroundings, along the imposing chain of the Sainte Baume Massif, the golf course is suitable for various aspects of the game. |

| Around the Domaine you will find so many places of interest that your stay will not be enough to discover everything that can offer you a holiday in the Domaine. Just nearby, Nans les Pins is a typical 18th Century village worth the visit. La Sainte Baume range is a tourist attraction in the heart of the forest. At Saint-Maximin, the Basilica, the Royal Convent and the surrounding medieval buildings will delight the amateurs of history. The Thoronet Abbey is a famous 7th Century Cistercian abbey and is also to be visited. Finally going even souther, you will find the medieval villages of Le Castellet and La Cadière d'Azur. The coastal resorts of Bandol and Saint Cyr, with Cassis and its picturesque harbour could well complete your discovery. As far as arts are concerned, Aix en Provence and its festivals in July are unmissable. Marseilles is also rich of concerts, exhibitions throughout July and August. There are also opera and concerts during the Haut Var festival from April to October. |
