Facilities within the Property

Ideal for a relaxing quiet stay, there are plenty of sun beds to lie in the sun or the shade amongst the many lawns around the property. The terrace overlooking the golf course is ideal for taking a cool drink or tea and biscuits while chatting or reading under the large umbrellas. There is a plunge wooden pool 4m80 diam. and 1m20 deep ideal to cool down on a hot day or after a long drive.

The 9 hole golf course is open to any visitor at an extra cost and we also have clubs for hire. A grass tennis court is put up every summer, and free to our guests. You can also play "boules" in the garden. Every morning, in our lovely dining room, we serve a good continental breakfast, which is included in the price. During summer breakfast is served also on the terrace. Several days per week, we serve also dinner, but only on request and upon reservation.

Amboise is only 13km away. This is the most delightful small town on the Loire river. The castle is a true example of the Renaissance era. From July to September, on Wednesday and Saturday nights, you can see the wonderful "Son et Lumière" show with more than 100 actors recreating the court of François 1er and life in 16th Century Amboise. The Clos Lucé: the king of France, François 1er, asked Leonardo da Vinci to come and live in Amboise, where he created so many of his amazing machines, etc. He is buried in the chapel of the castle. Shopping in Amboise: the centre of Amboise offers many shops, restaurants, bars, tea rooms. You can also visit the park of "mini-châteaux": miniature Loire valley and "aquarium de Touraine": a beautifully appointed aquarium with its shark glass tunnel. Why not to spend some pleasant moments in Chenonceaux, with the most beautiful of all the castles in the area, over the river Cher. Tours, Villandry and Azay le Rideau are all within 45 minutes drive. Villandry has the best gardens, Azay le Rideau is very near on the river Indre, and you can then discover the beautiful old town of Tours, called "Petit-Paris". A shopping dream with department stores and designer boutiques, as well as antiques, bars and restaurants.
