 Le Clos du Golf is situated 13 km north east of Amboise. This is the area above the Loire river where you can find all the local vineyards, then the rural countryside with its fields and woodlands. We are the last property north of our village of Cangey, 8 km from the river Loire. We are also situated only 2 km from the village of Dame Marie les Bois, and only 10 minutes from the exit N°18 of the A10 motorway. Shops, many restaurants, banks and chemists are available in Amboise, easy to reach by car. |
By car:
- Coming from the north; from Château Renault or exit 18 of A10 motorway, take D31 towards Amboise. When you reach Autrèche, turn left on D55 to Dame Marie les Bois. When in the village, take first right D74 towards Cangey. Le Clos du Golf is on the left after 2 km, just before hotel Le Fleuray.
- Coming from the south, Blois or Amboise, take RN152 along the river Loire. Take D74 into the village of Cangey, and carry on straight up towards Fleuray and Dame Marie les Bois. Le Clos du Golf is situated on the right after 8 km, just after hotel Le Fleuray.
By plane:
The nearest airport is Tours. From the airport you can rent a car or take a taxi to the bed and breakfast. By car, it is only 30 minutes away. You have to take the motorway A10 and then the exit 18 and follow the above directions.
Coming from Paris airports, you can rent a car and follow as above or you can take the TGV to Tours from gare Montparnasse and then a taxi or by car from Tours, as above.
By train:
Saint Pierre des Corps (Tours) is our nearest TGV station. Trains from Paris take 50 minutes and you can rent a car at the station. We are 30 minutes drive from Tours. You have to follow the street long the Loire river to Amboise. One in Amboise, go straight on N152 and then turn left to Cangey. Go straight on for about 8 km and Clos du Golf will be on your right side. |
