By car:
Coming from Tours, you have to take the main street to Azay Le Rideau-Chinon. Follow the street: pay attention you have not to enter in the town of Azay le Rideau. Before to reach the centre of Chinon, you find a first roundabout: turn right, direction Bourgueil. Go straight on at the second roundabout and at the third roundabout, turn right, direction Bourgueil. Go straight on for about 2 km and then you find the sign "Chateau de Danzay" on your right and left side. Pay attention: you have to turn left in a small street in the countryside and the entrance of the castle is on your left after few km.
By plane:
The nearest airport is Tours. From the airport, you can decide to reach the main railway station is Tours and take the train to Chinon. From there, you can reach the castle with a short taxi ride or you can rent a car.
Coming from Paris airports, you can reach Gare Montparnasse" and take the TGV to Tours and then the local train to Chinon.
By train:
The nearest station is Chinon. From there, take a taxi or rent a car.
By car: take the street long the small river Vienne, going out from the town. At the roundabout go straight on direction Bourgueil and follow the street and the signs for the castle for about 5 km. |
