By Car:
Coming from the north or the south, you have to take the highway A10 and exit at Sainte Maure de Touraine (exit number 25). From there, follow the directions for Chinon (D760). When you reach Chinon, you have to cross the bridge on the river and after the bridge, turn immediately on the right. Turn left on the second street and you are in Place du Général de Gaulle, where the hotel is located at the end of the square on the left and it has a private garage or there is a parking in the middle of the square.
By Train:
The nearest railway station is Chinon. From there, you can easily reach the hotel with a very short taxi ride. Coming from Tours, you can rent a car or take the train to Chinon. If you rent a car, you have to follow the directions for Joué lès Tours and Ballan Miré. Then you find immediately the directions to Chinon. When you reach the town, you have to follow the main street behind the castle until the small river. Turn left and go straight on: pay attention, you have not to cross the bridge, but go straight on and follow the directions for the hotel.
By Plane:
The nearest airport is Tours. From there, you can take the shuttle service to Tours central station and then the train to Chinon. Then as above.
Coming from Paris airports, you can take the TGV from Gare Montparnasse to Tours and from there the train to Chinon. Then as above. |
