 The perfume atelier of chateau de Frileuse: Nicolas de Barry, owner of chateau de Frileuse, has been a perfumer for several years. It is possible to visit his atelier in the castle. He runs several perfumery courses throughout the year mainly at weekends. During these courses you can discover the complexities of fragrance appreciation and the techniques of traditional perfume creation. |
 Training courses specialized for profesionnals: one day training, or over a longer period are also available on request. Please don't hesitate to contact us for further information. For royal families and stars, Nicolas de Barry has created for more than ten years "personal" perfumes - the olfactory equivalent of "haute couture" specially designed clothes. |
 The client stays at the castle overnight to meet the perfumer, and try out with his aid the various families of perfumes and essential oils. These choices then make it possible for the creator to design & propose (after 2 or 3 weeks study) one or more samples of a "perfume prototype". |

| Thanks to its position the castle is the ideal accommodation to spend an unforgettable stay in the Loire Valley. All of the most famous and interesting castle s of the region area quite easy to reach by car. Plus there is the possibility to discover the beauty of the area by bike, with a new path, created just for this. Chambord was built from François Ist during the Renaissance and it is completely immersed in a marvelous park. Chenonceau, was the castle of the women and was of Diane de Poitiers. In the area you find some restaurants, bars and shops, where you can spend some pleasant moments during your free time at the end of the day. |
