If you arrive from Paris:
Take Paris-Bordeaux Highway. Exit at Blois and proceed toward Chateauroux-Vierzon. After crossing the Loire river, just beyond the bridge, turn right to southern Blois direction (``Blois Sud``). Follow the Loire and continue towards Chaumont. Having passed the village of Villelouët, 10 kilometers from Blois, you will come upon a cross-roads and you will continue in direction to Chaumont. After driving one more kilometer, you must turn left and take the dirt road that leads to the chateau de Frileuse. There will be a sign indicating the entrance.
If you arrive from Blois:
Cross the Loire on to the François-Mitterrand bridge and follow the direction to Chaumont. Having passed the village of Villelouët, 10 kilometers from Blois, you will come upon a cross-roads and you will continue in direction to Chaumont. After driving one more kilometer, you must turn left and take the dirt road that leads to the chateau de Frileuse. There will be a sign indicating the entrance.
If you arrive from Tours:
Drive towards Blois by Amboise and southern side of the Loire. Once you have passed Chaumont, continue towards Candé sur Beuvron. In Candé sur Beuvron continue towards Blois. Drive one additional kilometer and you will find the castle entrance to your right. |
