| | | The Domaine de la Tortinière is a charming family owned mansion-house, built in the 19th century. It is situated near Tours, in the middle of a delightful 15-hectare park overlooking the Indre river. Serenity and calm are the main impressions you may feel during your stay, in any season.
A restaurant, offering a traditional Val de Loire cuisine, a tennis court, an outdoor swimming pool and a rowing boat on the river are at your disposal to make your stay an unforgettable one.
A laundry room Le Pressoir equipped with a washing machine and a dryer is at guests' disposal, and cards can be purchased at the reception desk (Dry Cleaning service remains available yet with a 24 hour up to 48 hours delivery time).
The refined and renowned cuisine of the chef can be served either in the old Orangerie of the Château or on the outdoor terrace, if the weather permits it.
The cooking is classical and definitely inspired by the Loire traditions.
Taste the Beuchelle Tourangelle a dish made with sauté of veal sweetbreads and kidneys with a white sauce and morels.
The breakfast buffet is served in the breakfast room, or on the terrace, from 8 a.m. until 9.45 a.m.
A continental breakfast can be served directly in the bedrooms, from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
