By car:
You have to take the highway A10 and exit at Chateau-Renault-Amboise. Follow the directions to Amboise and reach the town. When you are in Amboise, cross the bridge on the Loire river, turn right in front of the castle of Amboise and follow the D283 until you reach the Chateau de Pintray at about 2 km on your right at the end of a tree bordered drive.
By train:
The nearest railway station is Amboise, but the most important is Saint Pierre des Corps and Tours, where the TGV stops. From Tours, you can decide to rent a car and reach the castle or you can take a taxi, but it is much more expensive.
By plane:
The nearest airport is Tours Nord. From there rent a car and reach the castle as above. Coming from Paris, you can take the TGV from Gare Montparnasse to Tours or Saint Pierre des Corps and then as above, by taxi or rent a car. |
