By plane: Aeroport Lyon-Saint Exupery is the terminal serving the city of Lyon. It is placed at a distance of 20 kilometres from it and there are direct connections on public transport (as a matter of fact, the airport has its own station, called Gare de Lyon Saint-Exupery). Both regional and international flights land here.
By car: Aeroport Lyon-Saint Exupery is placed 38 kilometres from the property (32 minutes driving). Take roads D29, A432 and A43/E711. Get off at "EXIT 1/ SAINT-ÈTIENNE/ MARSEILLE/ PÉRIPHÉRIQUE-SUD" and as you approach Bron, continue along D383. Near Saint-Fons, join A7/E15 and get off at the exit for Lyon-Centre. As you arrive in the city, turn left in Rue de la Barre, continue along Place Bellecour, veer right in rue du President Herriot, and just keep on straight till number 47, before the intersection with Rue de la Poulaillerie.
By train: At Aeroport Lyon-Saint Exupery, there are shuttle services leaving every 20 minutes to downtown Lyon. You can get off at station Part-Dieu (35 minutes) or Perrache (45 minutes).
If you arrive at Part-Dieu station, you may either walk _it is placed 900 metres from the inn- or take the metro (line B direction Charpennes): change at the second stop, Charpennes, to line A (direction Perrache) and descend at the fourth stop, Cordeliers.
From Perrache station, take the metro (line A direction Laurent Bonnevay) and descend at Cordeliers, which is the third stop. In order to reach the hotel, go along Rue Henri Germain and turn right in Rue du President Herriot. |
