The grounds of the Hôtel du Golf are set for both pleasure trips and business meetings, being golf one of the favourite gatherings among executives. Its restaurant and Club House become the main facilities, though there is also a swimming pool (open from May to September), a parking lot and a reception which attends 24 hours a day in high season and from 8am to 10pm in the low one. |
Breakfast is served every morning on a terrace designed for this first meal (or, for an additional cost, at your room): croissants, cereals, coffee, tea and chocolate are part of the offer, along with orange juice and an assortment of fruits, sausages, potatoes, bacon and yoghurt. Afterwards, either for lunch or dinner, you can try the Restaurant, with soothing views of the holes 9 to 18: at midday there are fixed menus, while at night you may taste the traditional dishes from southwest regional cuisine. |
As regards conference facilities, there are 5 areas to choose among, all of them named after activities related to golf: "Le Fairway", "L`Ardilouse", "Le Boggey", "Le Par" and "Le Green" measure between 22 and 120 square metres and may accommodate up to 100 people. Bottled water, access to internet, screens and projectors are some of the services provided, as well as meeting areas and buffets. |

The surrounding 100 hectares placed right on your doorstep at the Hôtel du Golf will surely encourage you to spend time outdoors, either trying the 18 holes or taking a peaceful stroll along the many pedestrian tracks set in the woods. In addition to this, you can use the bikes to reach the beach or even the Moutchic Lake by bordering the golf course. In summer, the beaches of Lacanau Ocean (a stretch of 20 kilometres) become the favourite spot: after sunbathing, there are nautical sports to practise, from surf to water ski. In winter, you should visit the vineyards and cellars of the Médoc area, or travel south to Arcachon to learn the secrets of the oyster industry. |
