By staying at this property you will be close to the main attractions in this enchanting destiny in northeast France, capital to the Alsace region. Maison Kammerzell, placed on La Place de la Cathedrale, a few blocks away, is the oldest building in Strasbourg to be still exploited: this traditional timber-house from 1427 hosts a restaurant that was established originally in the 19th century.

Hotel Gutenberg is very well located in the heart of the city next to the Cathedral, the typical "Petite France" area, the restaurants, the shops, the museums and many other tourist spots and activities like the boat tours and the European institutions. The property was constructed originally in 1745 and did not open as a hotel until 1972. The last renovations took place in 2005. It is a wonderful building, as it is evident from the façade, and it has to, because Strasbourg is paradise for lovers of architecture, either if you are a fan of medieval structures, classical 18th century ones like Gutenberg, or modern eclectical constructions.

It is a five-storey building placed on Place Gutenberg, a few steps from Place de la Catedrale, where the huge local cathedral, the absolute must-see of this city, is located. You will be able to choose among 42 geustrooms, all of them equipped with writing desks and free internet access. The atmosphere inside the chambers, as well as within the common areas of the inn, is totally cosy and friendly, with wall coverings that remind of Alsacian scenes.
