 Gourmet Restaurant:
Our restaurant is, due to it's talented young chef Sébastien Aminot, and according to all major restaurant guide books, considered the best in town. There is a selection of beautiful period rooms as well as a garden and terrace with a splendid view onto the Popes' Palace from which to choose the venue. We propose different group menus. |
 Le Marmiton (French name for young kitchen hand):
Le Marmiton cooking lessons with our chef lead visitors through the preparation of menus featuring traditional recipes of provençal and French cuisine, set in an historic kitchen which has been in use for more than 200 years. The prepared dishes are savoured all along and at the end of the class with wines selected by our wine waiter. The class is for a maximum of 15 participants each time. Therefore, over this number, we frequently divide the group in 2. One is preparing the starter and dessert and the other the main course. In the meantime, a cheeses tasting is organising for the party who is not cooking. |
 La Table d'Hôte:
Since several years, our tradition of welcoming our guests like friends to the Table d'Hôte on a daily basis which takes place in the old kitchen of the 19th century.Hotel La Mirande enjoys one of the most spectacular locations in Avignon. It is set right opposite the "Palais des Papes" once house of the Pope during summer. We invite our guests to stroll in Avignon discovering the beauty of the pedestrian area, the "Rocher des Doms", "Place de l'Horloge" and the numerous restaurants and shops of the city. Our Table d'Hôte's Chef Julien Allano will prepare the family style dinner directly in front of all guest on the 120 years old open fire stove. |
 The dinner will be created from the daily fresh products of the nearby market in Avignon and includes wines from our Rhône valley region carefully selected by our Chef sommelier David Ripetti. After dinner with coffee guest gradually move to the Salon rouge, the evening may end with a fine cognac by the fire place to savour "l'art de vivre". Table d'Hote daily on request only, dinner is limited up to fourteen persons only. In case you want to celebrate with your friends, a special dinner can be arranged for ten people minimum. A limited number of participants are 14 people at total. |
