Strasbourg Cathedral was constructed between the 12th and the 15th centuries and as it is 142 metres high, it was the tallest building in the world between 1625 and 1874. As a matter of fact, this must-see in Strasbourg is placed only 10 metres from Hotel Suisse, and other attractions are also a stone`s throw away, like Palais Rohan for example.

This palace was built in 1704 by the king's architect, Robert de Cotte: it is a classical construction featuring Corinthian columns and its name derives from who ordered its construction, the Prince-Archbishop of Strasbourg, Armand de Rohan-Soubise. Nowadays, you will find inside three museums: the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, the Musée des Beaux-Arts and the Musée Archéologique.

Hotel Suisse is a typical house with a yellow façade and wood adding its particular charm. The breakfast room is decorated as the Alsacian houses, while the rooms also maintain this cosy atmosphere that seems to welcome guests from all over the world. There are 25 rooms and even some fit to accommodate families. The hotel works within an original house, but constant renovations are held by the owners, the latter being made in 2006.
