 Being a guest at the Hôtel Vitanova means you will have free access to the balneotherapy centre, a retreat for relax and wellness where to spend the afternoons after a morning sunbathing at the beach. There are 2 swimming pools, one outdoors (closed in January as the rest of the complex) and another indoors, a sauna, and a gym: check for aquagym and swimming classes, ideal for cloudy days when the beach is not the plan. In addition to this, the guests obtain a 15% discount on the many treatments available, either for the skin of the stressed muscles: there are massages, products from the sea to sooth your body and other treatments anti-age, among many other facilities. |
 The Hôtel Vitanova closes in January, but during the rest of the year it has many services to offers its guests, from the reception desk open till 8 or 9 in the night and a porter that will welcome you if you arrive later. You can park your car at the hotel`s lot, which is not covered: even though it is kept closed during the night, you will be given an entrance mechanism so that you don`t need to worry about coming back early. |
 The Restaurant Le Patio serves traditional cuisine from the southwest of France, including smoked salmon and fois grais as the specialties you cannot miss. In the mornings, for an extra cost you may have breakfast at the restaurant specially conditioned for the first meal of the day (notice that you can also ask for it to be brought to the room, where you can indulge in it at the terrace): croissants, ham, cheese, fruits, as well as yoghurt, eggs, cakes and cornflakes are part of the buffet display, complimented with the usual tea, coffee and chocolate. |

 The centre of Lacanau Ocean is only 2 minutes from the Hôtel Vitanova: however, this destiny was made for being outside, either at the beach or at the many sports facilities that will assure your entertainment. In the first place, try the 3 golf courses, including a 9 holes training field where to become an expert within a fascinating scenario of hilly grounds. Then, there is a sports centre only 100 metres from the property where you will be able to choose among 2 squash halls, 3 paddle and 16 tennis courts. As regards the cultural background of Lacanau Ocean, you can visit the sumptuous villas built by the wealthy on rue Emile Faugère, close to Europe square. |
