The "morning after", a welcome breakfast catering to everyone's taste: fruits in season, fresh fruit salads, fresh grapefruit and orange juice; eggs: "fried, boiled, scrambled or omelette", with bacon, ham, cheese, and/or baked beans and a rich assortment of cereals.
All varieties of cheese: sharp, mild, and "fromage blanc". A wide selection of pastries, cakes, and slices of bread spread with honey and/or jam (including low calory), and/but, beware our top quality butter! We also serve almost every hot drink: coffee, expresso, Indian or Chinese tea, hot chocolate, etc, etc. Vitality!
Those who prefer to take their breakfast in bed may enjoy the same menu in their room. Accompanied by a free copy of the international, national, or regional newspaper of your choice, it is served until noon in either location. Royal! |
Guests planning longer stays will be happy to avail themselves of a dry cleaning service which returns items "the same day".
Our receptionist staff is personable and highly professional. Their knowledge and advice concerning chosen and tested restaurants or concerning shopping, car rentals, plane reservations etc are invaluable!

The Hotel Cezanne is located in the centre of Aix en Provence, between the railway station and "La Rotonde" monumental fountain that is the hallmark of the city. The city centre with its fascinating "old world style" cafés can be easily reached in walking distance. You can not miss to visit the following places of interest:
- The "Rotonde": In the middle of the main square we can find this fountain erected in 1860. The fountain has 3 statues representing Justice, Agriculture and Arts.
- The Cours Mirabeau: Once a street for horse-drawn coaches, it links the Mazarin quarter to the south part of the city. It is full of charming cafés with external verandas, trees and exquisite gardens.
- The Atelier Cézanne: Musem which displays the furnishings and the objects used by the artist.
- Café "Les Deux Garçons": Cézanne and his friends used to drink and chat in this elegant café.
- The Pavillon de Vendome: Built by Pierre Pavillon for the Duke of Vendome, it has a beautiful French garden in front and imposing stone statues adorning the façade.
- Paul Arbaud Museum: It houses a wide collection of typical Provençal pottery.
- The Madeleine Church: This 17th century building houses lost of religious paintings such as the Altarpiece of the Annunciation.
- The Town Hall Square (Place de la Mairie): The Town Hall features a refined façade decorated in Italian style, carved wooden doors and an inner court. The Clock Tower has statues representing the four seasons appearing each in its turn. |
