Hôtel Résidence le Provençal is located between Marseille (100 km) and St Tropez (50 km) at the southermost tip of the Giens Peninsula, in the center of de village, perched on a promontory with a panoramic view of the Porquerolles and Port Cros Islands and the beautiful Mediterranean sea. The hotel is at 12 km from the city center, at only 2 km from the Tour Fondue where boats depart for Portquellores Island. We are at 25 km from Lavandou, 55 from Saint Tropez. |
By car
- When you arrive by the 'Autoroute du Sud'(A6) motorway to Toulon, cross the city, take the A 570 motorway in the direction of Hyères. Follow signs for "Le Port, Giens, Les Iles" on the D97. Drive through the village of 'La Capte' and continue on past "La Bergerie". Follow the signs for Giens and turn right to climb up to the village itself. Once in the village, turn left in front of the church. The Provençal Hotel is located 50 meters further on, opposite the post office
- Coming from Nice by motorway, by "Le Luc" in the direction of Toulon, head in the direction of Hyères. Once in Hyères, follow the instructions given above.
By train
Hyères train station is only at 8 km. Toulon train station is at 23 km, and most TGV arrive there. Once at Hyères station, the easiest thing is to take a taxi to the hotel.
By plane
The most convenient airport is of course Toulon Airport (5 km). Yet Nice Airport (141 km) and Marseille Airport (50 km) are maybe more international. From there take a taxi to reach the hotel. |
