A Mediterranean cuisine, to be tasted on our terrace, under the plane trees and in the light of the candles; or in the dining room with its patinas and its sunny walls. Provencal accent is obvious, with a choice of dishes coloured by the sun: Provencal herbs, olive oil from Les Baux valley, Alpilles' goat cheese, fishes from the Mediterranean sea, lamb, vegetables and fruits from the region... all the best of Provence in your plate. Dinner: served from 7:30 pm to 9 pm. Open all year.
The bar is open all the day: on your way to Glanum, why not come and taste our selection of refined teas? |
In the heart of the garden, the swimming pool accomodates you to rest under an olive-tree. Bushes of rosemary or lavender perfume the air heated by the sun of Provence. The long chairs await you for one afternoon of relaxation and the large swimming pool (15x6m) is entirely closed and is accessible to the children accompanied by an adult. A ping-pong table waits you.
The property is enclosed, a carpark is at your disposal, accessible apart from the opening hours from the reception with an access code.
We also work in partnership with a bycicle hiring shop. The bikes will be delivered at the hotel for you. |

Some of the followings are good addresses to eat and drink nearby. The Château des Alpilles offers a gourmet cuisine in a beautiful XIX house. La Maison Jaune is perfect for those who like a cosy type of atmosphere. With a Provence touch though. Tables are close, the decoration is sober but the welcoming is warm and the smile of the staff is real. Le Bistrot des Alpilles proposes you French dishes with extraordinary wines at a very decent price considering how famous and exquisite they are.
Tourism wise, the centers of interests are numerous, by walk or by bike...
St Remy of Provence and Baux de Provence Rich of its many ancient and historical sites, Saint-Rémy is also a town of artists and craftsmen. You will discover: the ancient roman vestiges of the site of Glanum, the landscapes painted by Van Gogh... And especially not to miss the weekly market on Wednesday morning, where all flavors and scents are proposed to you. We recommend you to arrange a picnic with goat's milk cheeses of the Alpilles, a little olive oil of the Baux Valley, a bottle of wine... Follow the soft planted slopes of olive-trees which lead to Les Baux of Provence. The village of Les Baux is a fortress planted at the top of a rock peak, which offers an extraordinary panorama on all the area. One finds there many vestiges of the Neolithic era, Roman time and of the Middle Ages. The Castle of Les Baux is an exceptional site with its reconstitutions of machines of war. Not to miss, the Cathedral of Images and its extraordinary audio-visual spectacle.
Each day we recommend to you a market not to be missed in the streets of a nearby village, starting point at one day of excursion. Here some suggestions:
The road of rice and salt, towards Arles and the Camargue... Arles, small Rome of Gaules, under the sun and the light of Van Gogh, with the féria and the festivals of Rice... The Regional Natural reserve of the Camargue, its protected reserve and then immense wild beaches around Salins-de-Giraud...
For our guests interested in golfing, there are 2 golf courses nearby (Golf with the Beams of Provence - 8 holes (8 km) or Golf of Servanes). At 2 kilometers away, there is also a possibility to go horse riding. |
