Our hotel is open 24 hours a day and we offer a night auditor service. No restaurant is available inside the hotel but you can find some good and different restaurants on the street close to the hotel and also in the old city, 20 minutes walking from us. Laundry and bar service are available at the reception, plus a TV room, where you can spend some pleasant moments. Private payable parking under the hotel. |
Every morning a buffet breakfast is served our lovely breakfast room. Tours is very rich in museums and monuments. You can reach the old city in 20 minutes walking. Around the Plumereau square, you will discover some ancient streets with old houses dating from the 14th to 17 th century. The town has 5 interesting museums: the Saint Martin's museum, narrating the Saint's life; the Fine Arts museum beside the cathedral; the Touraine Wines museum; the Gemmail museum and the Trade-Guild museum, unique in the world. Two splendid religious monuments are situated in the town. The Saint Gatien's cathedral, beautiful gothic building with marvelous 13th century stained glasses: don't forget to have a look at the two children's tombs of the king of France Charles VIII and the Saint Martin's basilica: very imposing building in a neo-byzantine style and containing the famous Saint's tomb. The shopping area is situated in National and Bordeaux street. Restaurants and bars are concentrated in the streets around Plumereau square and in Colbert street. |
