Strasbourg is a really interesting destiny to visit in northeast France, and it is the capital of the Alsace region. Not only is it hostess to many European Parliament buildings, you will have these only 15 minutes away from the inn- but it also features two must-sees that identify the city all over the world: the Strasbourg Cathedral, built between the 12th and the 15th centuries and the tallest building in the world between 1625 and 1874 (it is 142 metres high); a few steps away you will find Maison Kammerzell, a typical timber-framed house that has stood in the main square since the 15th century. |
By staying at Chambre d`Hote La Belle Strasbourgeoise, you will be 8 kilometres from the centre of the city. The property was opened by Françoise and Christophe Schmitt within a house built originally in the 1930`s. Even though modern accommodations are offered now for the guests, there are certain features from the past, such as the washbasin from 1936, when the property was constructed. |
At the inn there are the unique chambers, each of them with its own character, as it was the purpose of the owners to create totally different ambiances, missing styles and inspirations. You may stay at "The Spicy Marshmallow Room", "The Pistachio Macaron Room" or "The Hot Chocolate and Berlingots Room". |
