The airport serving Strasbourg is placed 10 kms from the city in a town known as Entzheim. It welcomes flights from Italy, France, Brussels, Vienna and Madrid on a regular basis. You should also bear in mind that Strasbourg is on the frontiers with Germany, therefore you may also come from this neighbour country: Karlsruhe Baden-Baden airport is located around 55 kms from the capital of the Alsace region.
By Car
If your flight arrives in Strasbourg Airport, you will have to drive around 14 kilometres (approx. 15 minutes). Take roads D221 and D400, turn right in highway A35 in the direction "STRASBOURG/ ILLKIRCH-GRAFFENSTADEN" and get off at the "EXIT 5". You will reach Strasbourg, where you must go along Avenue de Colmar and turn right in Rue du General Offenstein, where you will find the hotel on number 13.
Karlsruhe Baden-Baden airport in Germany is located 46 kms from the inn (50 minutes driving more or less). You must drive along roads B36 and B28/E52 before entering France. Then join road N4, get off at the exit and you will arrive in the city. Take Place de l`Etoile, turn right in Rue René Fontaine, left in Rue de l`Hopital and continue along Avenue de Colmar. Finally, turn left in Rue du General Offenstein, where you will find the hotel on number 13.
By Train
If your plane lands in Strasbourg Airport, the best way to reach the hotel is by taking the shuttle service to the tram station called Baggersee (these connections leave every 20 minutes), then the tram (line A, direction Hautepierre Maillon), and get off at College Couffignal. From here, walk around 50 metres and take the first street on the left, which is Rue du General Offenstein. From Karlsruhe Baden-Baden airport you can take the bus services to Strasbourg.
At the property you will be 8 kms from the centre of Strasbourg, but you can easily reach downtown on the tram. Just take line A, direction Hautepierre Maillon, at station College Couffignal, and descend at Homme de Fer. If you arrive by train, you will probably arrive at the main station, placed in Place de la Gare: from here you can take the tram (line A, direction Illkirch) and get off at College Couffignal. |
