Facilities within the Property

At La Maison d`Uliva you will experience the typical Provencal way of life, thanks to the close, personalized attention offered by the owners and the natural environment within which the property is located. The moment you arrive, a welcome drink is offered, as a fresh start for this friendly, homely service. As it is a family house, there is neither reception desk nor established hours for checking in and out.

However, this informality also enables guests to get to know the Provencal way of life even better. The owner of the inn is in charge of breakfast during the mornings, and it is a real treat, as fresh products from nearby fruit groves are used to prepare this delicious meal. Upon agreement with the owner, the guests can sometimes use  the kitchen (that is the family kitchen, so is important to ask in time the permission to use it).

Cherries, plums, blackberries, among other seasonal products, are implied in the preparation of mouth-watering home-made jams that you will feel like taking back home. There are also a number of common areas where to enjoy the Provence outdoors. Around the suite you will find a swimming pool, its use is shared with the rest of the units in the condominium, a playground for kids and a wide garden where to take strolls during the afternoon.

At La Maison d`Uliva you will be close from some of the "most beautiful villages" in France, such as Gordes and Roussillon. At the first, you cannot miss the typical little alleys and "calades", Gordes Castle -featuring an outstanding chimney from 1541, and the Senanque Cisternian Abbey, constructed in the 12th century. At Roussillon`s main road, fall in love with the old charming houses dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries; afterwards, have a look at Saint Michel church, with a marvellous façade from the 18th century and a 360 degrees panorama of the countryside from the top of the temple. Other destinies to visit near La Maison are Joucas, Saint Saturnin, Gout and many other fascinating places.
