As a matter of fact, the property known as La Maison d`Uliva used to work as a wine cellar: that was its original function, back in the 18th century. The hamlet included a number of dependences and even a small castle, all of these with the particular charm of the constructions found in the French Provence. In the 1970`s, special works were carried out by students coming from Le Corbusier Architecture school in Marseille, and the several facilities were restored with a careful preservation of the original features.

After these renovation works the house was used as a private home, where the owners would rest in their vacations. In the 1980`s some elements were changed in the dining room, again with the same philosophy: preserve the details left behind since the 18th century, such as the sand white stone, for example.

Finally, in 2006 La Maison d`Uliva opened as a bed & breakfast.
The lady who owns the property prepares delicious breakfast meals, using natural products grown in the farm or nearby, taste the cherries, the plums, the blackberries.
