L`Isle-sur-la-Sorgue - placed around 20 kilometres from Avignon in the French Provence - used to be an island; it was called "Venice of the Comtat" because of the many canals that were dug around it and today you can still see the water wheels from the 12th century, relevant examples of the times when the town flourished as a producer of silk and flour (by the 19th century there were 72 water wheels).

La Prevoté was
opened by Séverine and Jean-Marie, and a complete restoration took place in 2004. Within the ancient convent, nowadays guests from all over the world leave enchanted by the unique chambers, each of them with its own character and charming details.

You may stay at "L`Antiquaire", "La Lavandérie", "La Glaneuse", "La Ferronière" or "La Vigneronne". None of them is equal to the other, not even in the prevailing colours or the style of decoration, therefore you may come back for a totally different experience. The property offers breakfast and Provencal specialties at its gastronomic restaurant. There are also spaces for parking at a secured place only 150 metres away from the inn.
