Paris, and probably your flight will be arriving either at Orly or Roissy Charles de Gaulle terminals, as they welcome flights from all over the world on a regular basis.
By Car: If you arrive in Orly, you will have a distance of 143 kilometres to the hotel in Vertus. Once you leave Paray-Vieille-Poste (the airport itself) get on the national route N7 and exit Paray-Vieille-Poste. As you reach Rungis, continue on N7 Avenue de Fontainebleau and then turn right into A86 towards "N186/ A4/VITRY-SUR-SEINE/ CRÉTEIL/ THIAIS". You will pass close to Vitry-sur-Seine, Créteil and Maisons Alfort before heading in the direction "A1/ LILLE/ METZ/ NANCY/MARNE-LA-VALLÉE/BOBIGNY/ NOGENT-SUR-MARNE". Afterwards, as you pass close to Paris, take the exit towards "A5/ TROYES/ METZ/ NANCY/ MARNE-LA-VALLÉE/ CHAMPIGNY-CENTRE". Once you have driven these 19 kilometres along A86, you must take A4/E50, near Champigny-sur-Marne. Get off at exit 18 "La Ferté-sous-Jouarre" and then head in the direction "La Ferté-sous-Jouarre". Continue along N3 and you will pass close to Sammeron, through the town of La Ferté-sous-Jouarre and after Avenue Franklin Roosevelt, at the roundabout take the second exit into D407/Avenue de Montmirail. Continue along D407 and then D933 for approximately 50 kilometres. You will reach Bergères-lès-Vertus: keep on D933, turn left in D9/Rue du Mont Aimé and then take D9/Rue du Vertus. Still on D9, you will arrive in Vertus: turn right into Avenue Loius Lenoir, where you will find the hotel. (This journey will take around 2 hours).
A similar distance separates the Hostellerie de la Reine Blanche from the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport. Once you leave it, take the A104 towards A104 "MARNE-LA-VALLÉE/ SARCELLES/ ZONE INDUSTRIELLE PARIS-NORD II/ PARC DES EXPOSITIONS/ PARIS-EST/ BOBIGNY/ CENTRE COMMERCIAL RÉGIONAL/GARONOR" and drive approximately 30 kilometres, following the indications to Sarcelles, Marne la Vallé and Lyon. Notice that you will have passed the towns of Aulnay-sous-Bois, Bobigny, Chelles, Lagny-sur-Marne and Torcy. As you come close to Paris, take the A4/E50 and follow the directions described for the Orly Airport. (2 hours).
By Train: In order to use the public transport, the easiest way is to reach the Epernay train terminal ("la gare d`Epernay"), where trains from TER Picardie and TER Champagne-Ardenne arrive (TER means Transport Express Régional). Connections to Reims, the main city in the area, and Paris are available (in this last case, the journey takes 1 hour 10 minutes and there are direct links every day). From Epernay, you will only have 20 kilometres to the hotel. |
