Emmanuel, the happy and fun loving cook (and also professional clown) of La Bastide Rose offers its guests the discovery of the amazing produces of the Provence farmers, which he selects with delight at the daily markets of the region and turns them into magnificent memories of meals that will not be forgotten. Only the guests can enjoy the family meals that are offered at the Bastide Rose. The reservations of dinners must be requested 24 hours ahead of time. It is also possible to have a luncheon on the terrace or by the pool during the summer months upon request (latest at breakfast time).
 
The chef depending on the produce available at the markets and the season prepares the meal. Special attention to allergies or requests from the guests is made if mentioned in advance. Meals at La Bastide Rose take place with all of the guests present who are happy to be in the Provence region, as well as being greeted in a family atmosphere. Weather permitting the meals can be enjoyed on the terrace or will be served in the dining room.
 
Upon request, a private and intimate dinner at a separate table can be prepared. La table d'hôte can also be an event in the case of a special occasion (Example: Wine tasting or olive oil tasting). Upon reservation and for small groups the chef can accompany guests to nearby markets to select local produces, which will be used and prepared with him during a cooking course or demonstration in his kitchen.
 
Breakfast wise, La Bastide Rose offers two possibilities to its guests, from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.: A full buffet in the dining room or on the terrace, depending on weather, or a continental breakfast in the room at no extra charge. Every year, during 4 months, the Poppy and Pierre Salinger Foundation allow you to see the exhibitions in the garden (For instance Nicky de Saint Phalle or Keith Haring works). Furthermore, you can visit the museum in memory of Pierre Salinger and John Kennedy.
 
Other servives are also available: of course our guests can access the swimming pool opened during the summer time. Washing and ironing is offered at an extra charge. La Bastide Rose can also guide its guests with car or bus rental and can propose extra services for guided tours and or professional chauffeurs. Wine tasting of the neighbouring wine producers is regularly offered at La Bastide Rose during the apéritif hour, and is commented upon by a professional oenologist. Visits to the different winegrowers can be organised, if desired. Finally, a private massage in the room is available upon request.

La Bastide Rose is situated in the center of most touristic and sportive facilities. For example, you can go for a walk in the flee market and the antic market of l'Isle sur la Sorgue. During the year, 300 antic dealers are present and they are 500 for Easter and Auguste 15th.

If you want to practice sport
If you enjoy playing Golf, you have a large choice of Golf clubs like: Golf du Grand Avignon in Vedène, Golf club de Servanes in Mouriès, Golf des baux de provence in Les Baux de Provence, Golf de Châteaublanc in Morières les Avignon, Provence Country club in Saumane, Golf de pont Royal in Provence. Or you can also practice horse riding, trekking, riding bycicles, down stream the river Sorgues.
If you prefer discovering the region and its culture, first you would be glad to visit the most beautiful villages of France like Bonnieux, Ménerbe, Lacoste, Gorde, Roussillon, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Oppède-le-Vieux and Venasque. Then you may visit beautiful places as Avignon (and its "Palais des papes"), Nîmes(and its arenas), Saint Remy de Provence (with its Van Gogh Museum), Les Baux de Provence(with its wonderful landscape), Arles (and its ferias), Orange (with its remains of temples), Carpentras (pops cities, with its exhibitions and museum), Chateauneuf du Pape (with its vineyards), Vaison la Romaine, Pont du gard, Cavaillon and Aix en Provence. Furthermore, you can attend summer festivals, walk along the vineyards, or simply rest in la Bastide Rose with the Sorgues as a lulluby!
