By Train
Avignon TGV station is located 17 kms away. We advise you rent a car in Avignon or take a taxi to arrive at La Bastide Rose. Otherwise, bus transportation is available from Avignon and other nearby towns (line 18).
By Plane
Avignon airport is only 15 kms away.
By Car
From highway A7-Marseille-Provence Airport-Avignon Airport:
Exit highway at "Avignon Sud"(N°24) and take the direction of Avignon on your right, and just after, make a left toward Cavaillon-l'Isle sur la Sorgue.
After 1/2 km away, you will find an arrow on your left to Caumont, take the road on your left, do not go straight to l'Isle sur la Sorgue. Cross the village of Caumont, at the end, to the light, turn left toward Sorgues and le Thor, almost immediatly, take the road on your right toward le Thor, road D1.
After 5 km, on a bridge over N100, follow toward Velleron, go straight, do not turn right to the village of le Thor, you will see a supermarket "Intermarché" on the right. Drive an other 300 meters and you will see the firemen building "caserne des sapeurs pompiers" on the right.Take the road on the left with the sign for camping du Jantou and la Bastide Rose.
From Arles
Exit Arles in the direction of Avignon until you reach Graveson where you turn right in the direction of Chateaurenard. After passing Chateaurenard, follow the Bue gigns for A7 and after follow Cavaillon and Caumont. Go to Caumont and cross the village. At the end, turn left toward Sorgues and le Thor, almost immedialtly, take the road on your right toward le Thor, road D1. After 5km, follow toward Velleron, go staight, do not turn right to the village of le Thor, you will see a supermarket "intermarché" on the right. Drive another 3OO meters and you will see the firemen building "caserne des pompiers" on the right, take the road on the left with the sign for camping le jantou and La Bastide rose.
From Avignon
When you arrive in Avignon, follow the signs for center "centre ville", until you reach the old walls, stay along them eastward to the light with a right arrow towards L'Isle sur la Sorgue(N100).After a short drive, there will be a fork, take the right lane towards Morrières les Avignon, l'Isle sur la Sorgue. Cross Morrière, Chateauneuf de Gadagne and follow the N100 in the direction of le Thor. At the sign of le Thor, just before a bridge, turn left towards Velleron-Caumont. After, turn left on the D1 towards Velleron, drive 300 meters and you will see the firemen building "caserne des sapeurs pompiers" ont he right, take the road on the left with the sign for camping le Jantou and la Bastide Rose.
From Les Baux-Saint Rémy de Provence-Noves
From les Baux de Provence, go to Saint Rémy de Provence and follow on to Noves. Cross the village of Noves and at the round about, take a right towards A7, follow the road to A7-Avignon. Cross the bridge toward A7, stay on the the right lane.At the end of the bridge, there will be a small exit to Avignon-Cavaillon, on your right. Take the road in the direction of Cavaillon. Follow the road to Cavaillon D973 and about 1/2 km after, you will find an arrow on your left to Caumont, take the road on your left, do not go straight to l'Isle sur la Sorgue. Cross the village of Caumont, at the end, to th light, turn left toward Sorgues, almost immediatly take the road on your right toward le Thor. Follow toward Velleron(do not turn towrd le Thor village). As soon as you see a little supermarket store "intermarché" take a right, (about 7 km from Caumont), you will drive 300 meters and will see yhe firemen building "la caserne des pompiers" on your right, take immediatly the opposite road on your left, follawing the sign "le Jantou" and la Bastide Rose.
From Montpellier
From Montpellier airport or the city, take the highway A9 to the direction of Avignon-Orange. The exit for Avignon is Remoulins. You will have to take the N100 for about 19 km to reach the town of Avignon. As you are onthe bridge arriving at Avignon, follow the signs for "centre ville"(center). Stay along the old walls eastward toward Autouroute A7, do not take the road A7, go on along the walls, to a light with a right arrow towards l'Isle sur la Sorgue-Route N100. After a short drive, there will be a fork, take the right side towards Morières-les-Avignon - l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, cross Morières-les-Avignon, cross Chateauneuf-de-Gadagne, cross the railway tracks, after 800 meters. At the sign le Thor, just before a bridge, turn left towards Velleron/Caumont. At the stop sign, take a left on D1 towards velleron. On your right, you pass a small supermarket "Intermarché" and 200 meters further you will see the firemen station "caserne des pompiers". Take the road immediately opposite on the left and you will see the signs Le Jantou and la Bastide Rose. |
