 La Charpenterie is located in Talloires, a small and lovely village near Annecy and the nice lake. The village is calm and quiet, but there are some shops and restaurants. Chemists and banks are also available. An easy access to the beach and the lake is available from the hotel, plus parking facilities close to it. The hotel is in Rue André Theuriet. |
There is a shuttle boat that runs from Annecy to Talloires or alternatelly there are also shuttle boats runngin from Annecy bus stop. You can also book a private taxi boat that bring you from one part of the lake, to another part.
By car:
Coming from the highway, A41 from the north (from Géneve): you have to take the exit Annecy Nord and then follow the directions to "Le Lac, rive est". You have to take and follow the street long the lake, crossing some small villages (like Chavoires and Veyrier du Lac) until you reach Talloires. You have to turn right, following the sings for the centre and then for the hotel: there is a parking close to the entrance of the hotel.
Coming from the south, (from Chambery or Lyon): take the highway A41 and exit at Annecy Sud. Follow the direction for Imperial palace casino and then you have to find the direction to "Lac, rive est", when you are in Annecy.
From it is easy: you have just to follow the above direction.
By train:
The nearest railway station is Annecy. From there, probably the best is to rent a car to reach the hotel. You have to follow the directions to "Lac, rive est" and follow the street long the lake, direction Talloires.
By plane:
If you arrive at Annecy airport, you can just take the bus to the centre and rent a car to reach the hotel, as above.Coming from Geneve, the nearest international airport, you can take the train to Annecy and then rent a car: then follow the above directions. |
