Profile |
La Fenière was first a small restaurant in Lourmarin, run by Mrs Claudette Sammut. This is where Reine Sammut, famous French Chef, started her career giving a hand to her mother in law, and graduately improved. After 22 years, La Fenière restaurant left Grand Pré street for a former countryside post office just a bit outside the village. On one side of the road there are cherry trees. |
La Fenière is a true provençal farm with rooms with a view and gypsy caravans in the fields. It also blends in Moroccan tents, canvas spreads, veranda and chimney. As Guy Sammut, husband of Reine and owner of the place says, the atmosphere of the place is a mix of "Cabanons et château", gispy style and south influences blends in with charm and luxury. |
