| At Le Jardin d`Hiver you will be steps away from Place Bellecour, one of the largest squares in the city. From this square you can see the silhouette of the Fourvières basilica. The main monument is an equestrian statue of Louis XIV, decorated with bronzes by the Coustou brothers which represent rivers Rhone and Saone. Notre-Dame de Fourviere Basilica is one of the landmarks of Lyon: placed on Fourvieres hill, the temple can be observed from many spots in the city. You should also visit Parc des Celestins and Place des Jacobins in the immediate vicinity of the property. |
