The chambers at le Jardin d`Hiver are really big -measuring 30 square metres - and exquisitely designed. It is a family - run property, therefore you will soon develop a close relationship with Annick, who will be your host, and you will be able to ask her any questions concerning transport or sightseeing in Lyon. |
The lodging was opened in the summer of 2007, after a complete renovation on the third floor of a building from the 18th century. A delicious bio breakfast is offered in the mornings, and the most delightful experience is to take this meal at the winter garden of the inn. Rue des Marronieres, where the b&b is located, is a reference for gastronomy in Lyon. |
You will also be close from Place Bellecour, one of the most famous squares in the city, and 10 minutes on foot from St Georges and St Jean`s conservation areas. You could also visit the Celestins theatre, placed on rue Charles Dullin: the first plays were performed in this theatre back in 1792, even though it was originally a convent, when it was constructed for the Celestins in 1407. |
