By plane: Aeroport Lyon-Saint Exupery is the terminal serving the city of Lyon. It is placed at a distance of 20 kilometres from it and there are direct connections on public transport (as a matter of fact, the airport has its own station, called Gare de Lyon Saint-Exupery). Both regional and international flights land here.
By car: Aeroport Lyon-Saint Exupery is placed 37 kilometres from the property (32 minutes driving). Take roads D29, A432 and A43/E711. Get off at "EXIT 1/ SAINT-ÈTIENNE/ MARSEILLE/ PÉRIPHÉRIQUE-SUD" and as you approach Bron, continue along D383. Near Saint-Fons, join A7/E15 and get off at the exit 1.1. As you arrive in the city, turn left in Pont Gallieni, take Cours du Verdun Recamier, Place Carnot and Rue Auguste Comte. Continue along place Bellecour and veer right in Place Antonin Poncet.
By train: At Aeroport Lyon-Saint Exupery, there are shuttle services leaving every 20 minutes to downtown Lyon. You can get off at station Part-Dieu (35 minutes) or Perrache (45 minutes).
If you arrive at Part-Dieu station, take the metro (line B direction Stade de Gerland), change at the second stop, Saxe Gambetta, to line D (direction Gare de Vaise) and descend at the second stop, Bellecour. An alternative is to take bus number 99 and get off at Bellecour square.
From Perrache station, take the metro (line A direction Vaulx.La Soie) and descend at Bellecour, which is the second stop. In order to reach the hotel, go along Rue de la Barre and turn right at the first street, Rue des Marroniers. |
