You will pass close to Bordeaux before taking exit 1 "E70/ Périgueux/ Libourne/ Bergerac". Afterwards, you must continue along N230/E05 and get off at exit 26 "E70/ Libourne/ Périgueux". Take motorway N89 and drive in the direction "Exit 9/ Périgueux/ Bergerac/ Castillon/ Saint-Emilion/ Libourne-Est", and later on, ignore the exit signalled as "Saint Emilion" but keep going along the road. As you approach Libourne, before the roundabout, veer right into road D243, drive about 4 km, the property will be on the right hand side, with 2 stone pillars and flags at the entrance.
By Train The railway station located nearest to the property is Saint Emilion: however, this terminal only welcomes regional services going from Bordeaux to Libourne 4 times a day. Meanwhile, Libourne station in 7 kilometres away and is a stop at the services connecting Paris, Bordeaux and Toulouse. There are TGV services arriving here from the French capital in only 3 hours, and an alternative is to get to Bordeaux central station -Saint Jean- and then get on another train to Libourne. There are no means of public transport reaching the countryside where the inn is located: therefore you should take a taxi at Libourne (10 minutes drive) or even at Bordeaux. |
