Profile

The property was originally built in the 18th century as a typical "mas" or farmhouse. It was acquired in 2004 by Hilde Behaeghe, a Belgian woman who started her own business in a foreign country after her divorce back at home. In 2000 Hilde inaugurated a restaurant, La Cavette, serving typical Belgian and French dished. Years later she run into an old farmhouse on sale and decided to turn it into a "chambre d`hotes".

As a result, five guestrooms are offered to travellers seeking silence and a charming delicate environment. The rooms are furnished with care, and you can see the concern for detail in the rugs on the floor and the pictures on the walls. Hilde lives in the property, therefore you will be able to reach her at any moment.

A delicious breakfast is served under an old platan -it is actually 300 years old-, which has a symbol of the property. "Le Tresor Cache" means "The hidden treasure": however, this jewel is pretty easy to find. Only 1 kilometre distant from road N100 and 6 from Bonnieux, Apt and Roussillon, it is gifted with a wonderful location, among the most beautiful villages in France.
