Le Prieuré is located in the Loire valley on the riverbank between Saumur and Angers. We are located in a small village called Chênehutte, up on the hillside at 7 km from Saumur and 45 km from Angers. The hotel is completely immersed in a spacious park, so that the ambiance is really calm and quiet. Bars, chemists and banks are situated in a short distance and you can easily reach the centre of Saumur by car.

How To Reach Us

By car:
Coming from Paris, take the highway A11 to Chartres/Le Mans/Angers. Once in Angers, take the A85 to Tours. Exit at Saumur and then follow the directions to Saint Hilaire, Saint Florent/Gennes. Le Prieuré is on the riverside in between Saint Hilaire and Gennes: pay attention: there are many signs for the hotel.

Coming from Tours: take the N152 to Saumur and then follow the directions to Saint Hilaire, Saint Florent/Gennes. Le Prieuré is on the riverside in between Saint Hilaire and Gennes.

Coming from Nantes: take the A11 direction Le Mans. Once in Angers take the A85 direction Tours/Saumur. Exit at Saumur and then follow towards Saint Hilaire, Saint Florent/Gennes. Le Prieuré is on the riverside in between Saint Hilaire and Gennes.

By train:
The nearest train station is Saumur at about 7km or Angers 45km. From the station, we can book a taxi for you or you can rent a car and reach the hotel as above. From Saumur, as above and from Angers take the A85 to Tours and exit at Saumur. Then as above.

By plane:
The nearest airport is Nantes (120 km) or Tours (75 km). From both airports we will be delighted to book a taxi transfer to the hotel. If you prefer, you can rent a car and follow the above directions "by car".
