 Le Prince Noir B&B is located in the historic centre of Les Baux de Provence, a small picturesque village on a rocky plateau 245 m high surrounded by the impressive Alpilles mountains. It offers numerous architectural wonders including the church, the chateau, town-hall, hospital, chapels, houses..). Outside the village you have the possibility of discovering the Hell Valley and the charming villages of St. Remy de Provence, Arles and Fontvieille. |
Coming by Plane:
The nearest airports are Avignon (30 km) and Nîmes (50 km), but the most important airports for international flights is "Marseille Marignane" (75 km).
- From Avignon take the N7 in driection Orgon, then continue in direction St Rèmy de Provence-Les-Baux-de-Provence. Once there follow as below.
-From Nimes take the N570 in direction Avignon and after approx. 10 km you will find the roadsigns for "Les-Baux-de-Provence". Take the D17 and then the D78 F in direction Les Baux de Provence. Once there follow as below.
- From Marseille Marignane airport take the N113 in direction "Salon de Provence", continue taking the A54-E80 towards Arles and after approx. 15 km take the exit n. 11 and go in the direction of Maussane-les-Alpilles and les Baux-de-Provence. Once there follow as below.
Coming by Car:
From North leave the A7 motorway at exit N°24. Then drive in the direction of Noves,Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and les Baux-de-Provence. Once there follow as below.
From South leave the A54 motorway at exit N°11, go in the direction of Maussane-les-Alpilles and les Baux-de-Provence. Once there follow as below.
Please note: Le Prince Noir B&B is located in the historic centre of Les Baux de Provence and from April to October, the access to the village is only pedestrian area between 10.30 am and 7 pm. Therefore we advise you, after having parked your car, to take only the urgent affaires with you. The rest of luggage will be taken after 7 pm with the car. Once at the parking you can reach the B&B taking the main street of the historic centre (Rue du Chateau) up to Rue des Fouis. There turn left and you will find the B&B in front of you (there is a shop on the ground floor).
Coming by Train:
The nearest railway stations are Arles (20 km) for national trains and Avignon TGV for international lines (30 km). From both railway stations you can reach us by taxi. |
