Les Logis du Roy is located in one of the most famous wine town in France and certainly in the world. Saint Emilion's vineyards and landscapes are listed by the UNESCO as World Heritage. Saint-Emilion wines are renowned and enjoyed all around the world and they have always been of great importance for the town, as the town was already renowned during the Gallo-Roman period. |

By Car:
Driving on the A10, pass through St André de Cubsac toll and take the first exit after the toll.Follow the green signs to Libourne. Once you arrive in Libourne via the Fronsac bridge, then drive straight to the roundabout (you cross the Isle and leave the quays on your right hand side). You go up the railway and go straight to the next roundabout. Once there, please turn right following the direction "Bordeaux, Saint Emilion, Castillon, Bergerac".At the first traffic lights, go straight up til the roundabout , then straight on again and take the first exit on your right hand side. When you arrive at the "give way" sign, pease turn left in direction of "Saint Emilion, Castillon, Bergerac". Once you get out the village of Les Bigaroux, turn left in direction of "Saint Emilion". At the bootom of Saint Emilion, please park on the left hand side parking. Then walk down for 50 meters the pedestrian street "Rue de la Porte Bouqueyre" after L'Huitrier Pie restaurant. Les Logis du Roy are located above the art gallery "The Little Gallery".
By Train:
The closest station are Libourne and Saint Emilion. Libourne is a TGV station and TGV from Paris arrive there in 3 hours. Then you can get a regional train to Saint Emilion. Saint Emilion's station is located on the Bordeaux-Sarlat line.
By Plane:
The closest airport is Bordeaux Merignac at 40 km. From there you can rent a car or take the shuttle bus to Bordeaux and then the train to Saint Emilion. |
