Lyon La Grange has its own private garden and car park, an advantage you do not normally see in Lyon. The house is surrounded by a wood and a garden and you will dispose of a table and chairs outdoors, so as to organize meals for midday. |
When you arrive, the owners of the unit meet you there to give you the keys. Inside the unit you will find a washing machine and an iron in the bathroom; a dishwasher, kettle, fridge, microwave, toaster, utensils and coffee maker in the kitchen. |
There is also a dvd player in the living are and connection to internet in the main bedroom.For an additional optional price you will dispose of towels and sheets, and once a week the apartment will be cleaned up. |

| At Caluire-et-Cuire, do not miss the monument of Jean Moulin, placed in front of doctor`s Dugoujon mansion. Moulin was actually arrested here, in this district and in this house, back in 1943. At Croix-Rousse, the neighbour district, you will soon understand why it was named as world heritage by Unesco in 1999: it has the traboules, created in the 4th century when the inhabitants of Lugdunum were short of water, and needed to reach the shores of river Saone to obtain it. This part of Lyon used to be named the "colline qui travaille" (a working hill) due to the presence of labourmen. It has many slopes and plateaus and was created in the 19th century on grounds that used to belong to religious communities. |
