By plane: Aeroport Lyon-Saint Exupery is the terminal serving Lyon. It is placed at a distance of 20 kilometres from the city and there are direct connections on public transport (the airport actually has its own station, Gare de Lyon Saint-Exupery). Both regional and international flights land at this terminal.
By car: Aeroport Lyon-Saint Exupery is placed 20 kilometres from the property (35 minutes driving). Turn right in road D517E and at the roundabout go along the second exit, A432 and then, A42/E611. Get off at the exit for "PARIS/ ROANNE/ LYON-CENTRE/ PÉRIPHÉRIQUE-NORD/ PORTE DE LA PAPE" and continue along D383. Go along Boulevard Peripherique, Tunnel de Caluire, Tunnel de Rochecardon and Peripherique Nord. At the next 3 roundabouts, take Rue de Bourgogne, N6 and Chemin de Serin. Go along Quai Joseph Gillet and you will arrive in Caluire, already along Quai Georges Clemenceau.
By train: At Aeroport Lyon-Saint Exupery, there are shuttle services leaving every 20 minutes to downtown Lyon. You can get off at station Part-Dieu (35 minutes) or Perrache (45 minutes). Part Dieu is the station placed closer, at a distance of 3 miles from the inn.
If you arrive at Part-Dieu station, take the metro (line B) up to Saxe Gambetta -second stop -, then change to line D and descend at the last stop stop, Vaise, which is the stop placed nearer to the property. From Perrache station, take the metro A and descend at Bellecour, which is the second stop. Then change to line D and descend at the last stop stop, Vaise.
In order to reach the lodging from Vaise -2,5 kms from the apartment-, you should take a taxi, as it is a bit far to walk; otherwise, cross the river and walk parallel to it along Gillet and Clemenceau. |
