 The rooms inside Maison Kammerzell, in fact, they are part of Hotel Baumann, seem to be extracted from the 21st century, even though their frame dates as far back as 1427: the latest technologies stand side by side with details that speak of the past, such as the wooden beams on the low ceilings, or the tiny windows that can be seen from the outside in the timber-framed structure. |
 There are rooms placed on the third and fourth floors of the house: you can go up to the third level by elevator, but then for the top floor you must ascend some steps. However, this is a real pleasure, as the staircase is a delicate structure from the 16th century. |
 The chambers measure between 15 and 20 square metres: you may choose among 2 single ones, 3 standard rooms and 4 superior ones. As for the views you may get from them, they might be of the street, Maison Kammerzell stands on the historical centre of Strasbourg- or, in the best cases on the superior floor, of the landmark of this city, the marvellous Strasbourg Cathedral. |
