Strasbourg Cathedral, built between the 12th and the 15th centuries, is the main attraction in the proximity of Maison Kammerzell. It was the tallest building in the world between 1625 and 1874, it is 142 metres high, and it is a perfect example of Gothic architecture, even though many of its features belong to Romanesque style. Other spots you should try in the capital of the Alsace region are the Petite France and Quartier Allemand. Meanwhile, the Ponts Couverts are a fantastic set of 13th century towers, placed at the end of Petite France. |
